Rid rolled her eyes, and grabbed her cloak, pulling it up over her head

"pathetic.. follow me"

She walked out quickly, not even trying to sort out why she was, once again, trying to help him. It wasnt raining anymore, it was now just very humid and sticky.

She walked out of the Goblin town and into the forest, feeling the heat added with the humidity. She walked into the depths of it until she found the area where she left him. She kneeled down, feeling the grass. She could feel his foot print, barely, but her sensitive fingers picked it up, and she moved forward, also feeling the raptors.

She did this for several minutes until she got a general direction, and took off running, not even sure if the men could keep up.

She followed the now barely visible tracks, but she picked up his scent now, he was close. She got to the hill and took a large jump, over the plants that lined it, and landed just a few feet in front of him, and slowly turned, seeing him unconscious.

Sighing deeply, she saw his ankle, easily broken.

While he was out cold, she pulled out some wraps, and began to wrap it up to keep it straight, before hefting him onto her shoulders with a low grunt. He was heavy.. but still not heavy enough. She began to make her way back up the hill, struggling

The two crewman followed her and bickered most of the way. Mostly who would win in a fight. Onyxia or Ragnaros. They continued to argue the finer points of dragons and elemental creatures but both agreed they'd never want to see either one without at least 60 other men. They also agreed Kas could take them both at the same time. Alone.

They decided to stay at the road while Ridell looked for Kas. Just in case the Stormwind guards returned...which they did, so swiftly and mercilessly the two only had time to shout out "Run!" before they were killed.

The yell also jerked Kas awake and he suddenly gripped Ridell tightly. His ankle throbbed painfully as he looked around.

"W...wha's go'n...on..?"

"you're a fool thats what"

She decided to stick near the water, off the road. The crocolisks looked at them hungrily but generally stayed closer to the water to stay cool

"I saved your ass and then you managed to break your ankle? How?"

She shook her head slowly, making her way along the winding river

It took Kas a few seconds to realize who it was carrying him. He blinked a few times and glanced down at his ankle, seeing it bandaged.

"Tha was you huh?...though y'want'd me dead...anyway...there was a big beasty. Was hung'y an thought I'd make a nice snack ya?"

Rid shook her head a bit

"Not used to the land beasts I suppose"

When she got to the road, she put him down, dropping him close to the ground, and stretched her back, which was hurting from carrying him

"Can you walk? I dont think I can carry you the whole way.. Or.. can you at least hop?"

She grinned slightly

Kas landed on his bum and mumbled an 'ow. He looked up at her.

"'ey princess...y'r tha one do'n tha rescue'n...y'should be make'n a ling t'a carry me'n r'someth'n..."

He grinned that famous grin of his as got himself up to stand and winced painfully as he put pressure on his ankle.

"Ow...dam't..."

She sighed deeply, grabbing his arm and draping it over her shoulder to help keep his weight off of it

"You can bite me pretty boy"

She began to walked along the road, Booty Bay was close, she could only hope that the guards wouldnt patrol until they got to safety

"I was mostly doing this to shut a couple of your crew up"

"Y'came all tha way back out 'ere ta tha jungle j'st t'make dink and doink shut'p? Dinna work did't?"

He leaned on her quite a bit, limping along slowly. He was so close to her he could smell her. She didn't have a strong smell at all it was quite well masked, but still he thought it rather lovely for an assassin.

"Admit't...y'j'st came out 'ere t'save me cause y'like me...y'think I'm cute huh?"

Rid just walked along, shaking her head

"I swear to god I will leave you here at the guards' mercy"

Speaking of which.. she heard the gallops, far off yet, her ears perked a bit and she looked over her shoulder with a deep sigh.

She let out a loud whistle to get the goblin guards attention

"Can you help me out here?!"

A few of them came over, and stood behind her, so that the guards stopped dead in their tracks

Kas looked over his shoulder.

"Gotta love tha lil green guys..."

He then grinned at her as they entered the tunnel him still limping along.

"Maybe y'would...but y'dinna say I wasn't cute..."

He flashed her that boyish charming grin.

She sighed, and suddenly let go, shoving him against one of the nets inside the tunnel

"Have fun getting to the inn"

She said, walking down the tunnel and along the docks until she got to the small tavern and sat at a table, a goblin bringing her a drink as she took a deep gulp of it

"Damn bastard.."

Kas laughed and it echoed down the tunnel as he clung to the net.

"Come'n! I w's j'st joke'n! Rid'll!"

He waited for awhile, fully expecting her to come back and help but...but after it became obvious she wasn't going too, he sighed a bit.

"...think I'm fall'n f'r tha girl..."

He murmured to himself as he started limping his way to Booty Bay. His ankle was screaming at him, but it didn't stop him from grinning and waving to every pair of breasts he saw, even a few goblin pairs. He made it to the tavern and pushed his way in hopping from chair to chair. It was mid-day by then, most folk were still passed out so there was hardly anyone around.

His crew, he knew, would be at the ship waiting for them and he didn't mind letting them wait a bit longer as he sat down in a chair opposite Ridell and smirked at her.

"'ey beautif'l...y'r sweet ta let me work this here ankle...but I need s'me answers..."

Rid took a deep drink from her mug again, wiping her mouth with her sleeve and looking at him with her green glowing eyes

"what?"

She was getting frustrated with him, but still listened, even though she didnt look at him

"I dont know what you would have questions to.."

Kas reached over and grabbed her mug, and drained the very last few sips from it. He coughed a bit and grinned.

"Good st'ff ya drink round here..."

He set her mug back down in front of her. and smirked as he pushed some hair out of his face.

"1. Wha were y'do'n out thar? 2. Who called tha guards on's and 3. y'wanna go back t'a y'r room?"

As he finished her drink, she glared at him.

"1. I was out in the jungle to come kill you. 2. The guards were after your group but Im not sure who called on them, and 3. If you set foot in my room, thats something else thats going to get broken"

She stood, and began to run her hands through her hair, trying to get some of the water out of it.

She pulled off her cloak and hung it on the back of the chair, revealing her clothes, which hugged her body tightly, with several vials on her belt and her daggers as well. She then walked up the stairs, after saying

"and 4. Dont try anymore of your crappy pickup lines on me"
