Rid shook her head a bit, and began to drink her second as well. It tasted like crap really, but she didnt seem to care. Slowly she looked over at him, and spoke low enough to no one else could hear

"Id like a home one day though..It would be a nice change I think.."

He made a face, more at what she said then at the drink.

"Maybe...some day...long way away...aint noth'n t'be 'ad settle'n down...well a family I guess..."

He seemed to pause and think about the idea of family...but then just shrugged.

"Tha sea is m'ome...grew up on't...dunno if dry land could handle me y'know..."

He flashed her a grin, not realizing she was opening up to him.

Rid nodded slowly, and set down her half downed mug, just staring at the fire

"Ive tried not to think of things like a family.."

She curled her legs up, her knees to her chest

Kas nodded a bit.

"Only really 'ad me Da...me mum was kill'd when I was young, but 'e taught me everyth'n 'e knew...wha 'bout you?"

He glanced at her, not sure if he was sailing into bad territory or not.

"I would.. prefer not to talk about mine"

She was staring intently at the fire

"I was just kind of..thrown into this business. Its all Ive been able to know.."

She was rubbing her legs a bit without realizing it

Kas raised his eyebrow and looked at her. He looked her over.

"Then no wond'r y'dunno 'ow to relax and j'st 'ave some fun...do'ya even know 'ow t'dance?"

He was already starting to get up and ask her too.

She blinked, being torn from her still state and looked up at him

"Dance? No.. And.."

She looked around, blushing a bit seeing the other people there, and got embarassed even thinking about it

He stood fully and made a whistle.

The man nodded and picked up his lute and started to play a slow and pleasant song as Kas looked to Ridell and offered her his hand.

"Come'n. It aint 'ard as get'n bit by bugs'r kill'n a man..."

Hesitantly, she reached out slowly and grabbed his hand and stood, her cheeks quite pink as she was trying to ignore the people looking at her.

Her hands were at her sides, she didnt even know where to start

Kas had to try his very best not to laugh or even smirk. He reached out and gently took her left hand with his right, then moved her right hand to his shoulder before putting his no her hip.

"Simple ya? Now y'just follow m'lead..."

He took a step right slowly then left, just dancing in one spot.

Rid was staring at their feet, trying to mimic his, but mostly, trying not to look at the few people staring and chuckling.

She felt her cheeks get much warmer, as she said low

"This is embarassing.."

He was grinning charmingly as always but there was a warmth to it too as he squeezed her hand a little tighter.

His grin slowly turned to a smile as the song slowed down a bit more and he lwoered his voice to just a whisper.
