Eternal Love

Dari looked over his shoulder to see Thooghun pick up the scythe, and narrowed his eyes, confused as to why she would of left it.

Soon after though, he just rested his cheek on hers, closing his eyes, enjoying while he could, being so close to her.

"Its alright.. "

He whispered, trying to calm her

Telken watched Thooghun raise the scythe and examine it. In truth, the former librarian was worried something might happen when someone touched it, but it didn't seem to have any effect on Thooghun. Telken glanced to the direction Gabane had disappeared.He too was wondering the real reason she had left it and why she gave up so easily.

He shook his head and turned walking over to Kase and Misha first with the demon following behind. He knelt down to his love and their daughter.

"Are you alright...?"

Turning in his arms to watch Telken and look at the scythe curious, Kat whispered to Darissar.

"Who was that woman?"

She still shook but was slowly calming down just by being so near to Darissar.

He held her a little tighter at her question, speaking quietly

-"Shes a warlock.. My mothers friends' sister. Telkens trying to save her but.. I dont know if she can be.."-

Kase was holding Misha, who had calmed down to the point of almost falling asleep by now, closely. She smiled softly at Telken

"Much better now.. Thank you.."

Katsura nodded a little, before looking to Darissar's face. She watched him a moment...then shoved her lips against his, kissing him deeply. Her heart fluttered at being able to be in -his- arms. to be with -him. She clings to him, not breaking the kiss.

Telken placed his hand on her shoulder and smiled.

"Anytime Kase...Gabane...told me how to help you...I don't think she's lost..."

He then moved his hand to touch Misha's cheek gently and smiled more. Thooghun seemed to be studying the scythe with his small beady eyes, while Tyndar just kept an eye over everyone.

Dari blinked slowly, feeling a shiver run down his spine at the feeling, suddenly clinging to her, and finally his eyes closed as he kissed her back, a smile coming back on his lips as he did

Kase nodded slowly, looking at the Scythe that Thoog held

"Why'd she give someone that? It looks quite.."

Her eyes narrowed, and she handed Misha to Telken, as she stood and walked to Thoog, so that she could look at it. Her hand reached out, her finger trailing along the handle, her finger got covered in frost

"This is quite rare.."

Katsura's hands moved to Dari's chest and she continued to kiss him for a while more before breaking it and just staring up into his eyes with a soft and small smile. As when they had fought hours earlier, she was so cold the moisture around them became small snow flakes that floated to their feet.

Telken took up his daughter and followed Kase. He frowned looking over the scythe. He shook his head slowly.

"I don't know...It's possible she wanted to give Darissar a means to fight the demon...through Miss D'Moto...or she's trying to get her to join with the demon...I...only hope it's the decency inside of her trying to come out..."

Misha cooed and nuzzled her father's chest and made him smile a little bit.

Dari just kept her wrapped up in his arms, smiling down softly at her, obviously still tired as his eyes were barely able to stay open.

He then looked up to see them all looking at the weapon left behind, and his eyes narrowed a bit, but he still just held her closely, the cold not bothering him

-"If you take that scythe.. You must be careful with it.. I sense great powers within it.."-

Turning to look at it as well, Kat frowned a little, her arm and tail staying around him to support him. She chewed on the corner of her lip a little then looked at him.

~"Why would she give it to me? I don't even know her..."~

She looked back to see Thooghun's massive arms slowly becoming frost over as his demonic energies slowly succumbed to the scythe's strange powers.

-"Thoog! Put it down"-

He called out, then looked down at her, his fingers slowly stroking her cheek

-"Maybe shes trying to help us.. Im.. not sure.."-

He hugged her a bit tightly again, kissing her cheek and her shoulder, whispering softly

-"Just.. be careful"-

The felguard looked up swiftly and with a short nod from Telken, he dropped it on the grass. Telken frowned at it and glanced at Darissar, before looking to Kase. He hefted Misha a little as she fiddled with her daddy's robes.

"Would this be a scheme of the demons...?"

Kat nodded to him and whispered.

~"I will be...more now then ever...you're tired Darissar...come..."

She pulled away, but only enough to take his hand and smiled a little at him, starting for where the others stood.

Dari walked with her, leaning on her a bit for support, looking at them all, guilt in his eyes, unsure of if he brought Gabane there, or if she trailed him

-"Im.. going to rest.."-

He slowly let go of her, so that she could stay with them, so that they may be able to figure out about the scythe.

Kase watched him go, and once he got to the doorway, she rushed over, and hugged him, whispering something in his ear, as he hugged her back tightly, closing his eyes, looking like he was trying to fight back some tears, and then made his way down the small tunnel to their home.

She walked back over to the group, and looked at the scythe

"We're not sure how safe it is.."

The dreanei followed her love until she was standing and looking down at the scythe. As Darissar withdrew into the house she seemed to grow more confident and barely looking how worried and frail she had a moment before. She looked up as Kase returned.

~"It seemed evil in that woman's hands but now...just...powerful..."~

Her tail slowly swayed left and right as she looked down and studied it. Telken crossed his arms frowning in thought. Tyndar sat down at the door of the house protectively.

"There are great dangers in using something like this...especially as it's an unknown magical item...it could have repercussions for using it..."

He glanced at Kase for a moment.

"I think it's your choice, Miss D'moto if you wish to use it or not."

Kat studied the scythe very carefully without touching it, then looked up to Kasengae to see what she thought.

Kase was also staring down at the weapon, now looking a lot more healthy, and then she looked up at Kat, shrugging her shoulders

"I agree with him.. It could be dangerous, or useful. We dont know if she brought it to us to help or to harm.. "

She leaned down, touching it with just one finger, feeling the biting cold and she pulled it away.

"I cant say which it is for sure.."

Kase just watched her closely, making sure that nothing bad was going to happen just from picking it up, but nothing seemed to happen.

From nearby, a low growl was heard, and Kase quickly turned, to see a frostsaber, not quite fully grown, walk up to her. She kneeled down, gently petting his head

"There you are boy.. "

Katsura waved the scythe around slowly and carefully. She took a few steps away from the others and pointed to weapon at the ocean. She concentrated on her magic, pushing it into the scythe to push it's own, not yet willing to let it's magics invade her. With just a small push of will, a blast of snow flew into the ocean and for almost as far as the eye could see the ocean had frozen over with a layer of ice. The mage stared in wonder.

~"I-I only wanted to m-make it snow a little..."~

Telken watched the scene with a small frown and glanced at Kase, and found a small smile appearing at her interacting with the saber. He looked to Misha who would have liked seeing two feline's but she was fast asleep.

Tyndar walked slowly over, growling a little at the unknown saber and sniffing the ground where it had passed.

Kase looked up towards Tyndar

"Its okay, this is an old friend of mine"

The saber held out its paw, which was obviously hurt. Kase reached to her belt, pulling out a bandage and began to wrap it around his paw

"You never learn do you.."

She said and pat him on his head, before standing, the saber easily up to her waist in height. She looked over at the ocean which was frozen, then at Kat

"I knew that was powerful"

Tyndar walked closer to the other feline, sniffing him. She stopped and watched as Kase tended to his paw. She seemed to fight between being wary of an unknown cat and her mother instinct to tend to him as well.

Katsura chewed on her lip a little, looking over the scythe in her hands. The same question pounding in her head. Why did Gabane give it to her and how did she know of her? She shook her head. The longer she held on to it the more frost and cold seemed to cover her. Her robes were stiff and frost lined every thread.

~"W-what should I do with it...?"~

She looked perplexedly at Kase.

Kase wasnt totally sure about the power that was given to her, but she knew, it could be a great weapon in what they may face

"Keep it.. Use it.. But if you ever.. ever, feel darkness within your magic, you destroy it"

The saber sniffed at Tyndar, also a bit wary about her, but also not about to complain about the company. Kase looked off towards the frozen water, the heat from the sun slowly breaking it apart and melting it. She walked up to Kat, and whispered quietly near her

"For now though.. stay with Darissar.. he needs you"

Telken stayed quiet, just happy to see Kase well enough to be able to take charge and help the girl. He watched Tyndar growl a little at the new saber and bat at his nose, but the motion was very gentle and almost playful.

The dreanei bit her lip a little harder as Kase drew near and whispered to her. She held on tightly to the scythe, scared it would hurt anyone who took it away from her. She nodded a little and whispered in turn.

~"D-do you think he'll be alright?"~

Kase nodded to her

"He'll be fine. He just needs our support to stay himself.."

She watched as her saber began to playfully bat at Tyndar as well, but frowned as she heard it whine from banging his paw

"Oh Tyndar.. be nice to him"

She smiled softly, as he layed down, resting his head on his good paw.

Kat nodded a little and whispered as she blushed a little.

~"I think I will go lay with him..."~

The scythe seemed to retract a bit of it's power on her, or she did it unconsciously and the temperature around her warmed up slightly as she made her way inside the house.

Telken moved to Kase's side and looked at her with a loving smile. Misha stirred a little in her sleep with a soft cooing noise.

"Looks like we won this one..."

Tyndar looked at Kase then at the saber. She laid down with her head between her paws, listening to Kase. But she slowly started to creep closer, her tail flicking a bit.

"This one.."

She repeated, looking down at Misha, slowly rubbing her cheek, her hands once again steady as could be.

She gently took Misha into her arms, and hugged her closely

"We'll need to travel soon.. The demon knows we're here.."

Telken took in a deep breath and looked around their home. He really loved this place, even though he hadn't spent nearly as much time as he wanted too.

"I suppose we will...but where can we go love?"

He asked himself more than anyone. His eyes fell to his love and his daughter.

"...before we do...Kase...before our lives go on any farther..."

He turned to face her and placed his marked hand on her shoulder.

"...we should...get married..."

He wasn't sure what her reaction to that would be.
