Kat however, purred quietly until she felt Darissar move his head slightly to look at who entered. She hugged him a little tighter and followed his gaze as she whispered.

~"Who is it...?"~

He shook his head slowly, still hearing Gabel's growls

"Im not sure"

He said low, feeling like he knew the person, but just couldnt place a name to the face. He turned Kat slowly, so that at all times, he was between the man and her.

The man nearly fell onto the floor when he went to sit in his chair, and ordered a drink. The waitress, looking afraid to say no, nodded quickly

Whatever mood Kat was in, it made her unafraid of the odd man, yet still she moved with Darissar. She rested her chin on his shoulder, trying not to poke his eye out with her horns as she watched him.

~"Just looks like another drunk to me...we should kick him out...poor waitress is terrified..."~

She cast a glance at her scythe and grinned a little, though she didn't know why.

"Now now love.."

He kissed her cheek gently

"Dont forget about the little one growing inside of you.. "

He slowly let her go and stole a quick kiss before walking over to the drunk, Gabel at his side

"You dont need anymore booze.."

-"Shaddap!"-

The drunk yelled, looking ready to pass out at any moment

-"Ya dunno nuddin!"-

Dari shook his head and grabbed the man by the back of his shirt, picking him up with ease and walked to the door, tossing him outside, before walking back in shaking his head

"Im not going to let some drunk ruin.."

Suddenly, there were a bunch of screams outside, and Gabel growled louder.

Kase suddenly jolted up at the screams, and looked at Misha who began to cry. She gently picked her up and began to rock her

"shhh.."

Smirking, Kat watched Darissar throw the man out then jumped a little at the screams and looked at Darissar.

~"What was that...?"~

She looked at him worriedly.

Telken woke, but only from Misha crying. He rubbed his eyes gently before sitting up with Kase and smiling a little.

"Guess it's time to wake up..."

Kase quickly handed Misha over to him

"Stay here"

And within a couple seconds was on the main floor, and went to Darissar, who explained what happened but didnt know about the screams, and she looked at Kat

"Telk and Misha are upstairs, go up there with them"

and then they both ran outside, Gabel close behind. The drunk man held a woman by her throat, and Dari was there in an instant, grabbing the mans wrist so hard he almost broke it, the man screamed in pain and let the woman, who quickly ran into the town hall, go.

Kase stayed back a little but continued to watch as the man yelled at Dari, but otherwise, didnt do anything yet

Kat frowned at Kase, not wanting to listen at all to her but she slowly went up the stairs and into the room Telken and Misha were sitting in. Telken looked up.

"What's going on?"

Kat shrugged as she tried to look out the window and see what was going on.

~"I'm not sure...Miss Kasengae told me to come up here...."`

Kat shrugged looking eager to go down and outside as Telken rocked Misha to try and keep her soothed.

Gabel stayed at Kase's side, growling at the drunken man, his uneasyness making Kase even more nervous, there was something about this man Gabel could sense and they could not see.

Suddenly, the man reached to his belt, and Kase, in almost an instant, had an arrow set on her bow, aimed right for the mans throat

"Dont you even think about it!"

The man looked at her, and glared at seeing the weapon. His hand moved away from his belt

"Just leave this town.."

The man grumbled and shoved Dari away, then walked off down the road towards Westfall.

She sighed deeply, putting her arrow and bow away, as her, Dari, and Gabel went inside the inn and upstairs

Telken was tickling and playing with Misha to see how much she could giggle while Kat paced back and forth with the scythe in hand. She fiddled with it until she saw Darissar and turned to him quietly.

~"What was it? What happened?"~

Telken too looked up and stopped tickling Misha to look at Kase curiously.

-"Just a drunk"

Dari muttered, and walked right over to Kat, resting his hands on her hips to pull her closely, trying to keep her from worrying

-"Nothing to worry about, hes gone"-

Kase sat down on the bed, and nodded to telken, as if to say it was okay

The nod from Kase was all Telken needed and he fumbled with Misha a bit as she tried crawling out of his arms and into Kase's.

Kat pressed closed to Darissar, laying the scythe down behind him against the wall then nuzzling his cheek with hers a bit.

~"Something was off about him...wasn't it?"

Kase smiled and took Misha, holding her tightly to her chest as she kissed her forehead, and heard Kats question.

-"Yes.. there was.."-

He said low, but he couldnt place it yet. Gabel stayed just outside the doorway, sitting, staring down the steps, as if waiting for the man to come back

Telken looked over at Gabel and reached up to scratch at his goatee before looking at Kase and asked.

"Shall I go speak with the man?"

Kat glances over at Telken then looked to Darissar to see if there was more he wasn't telling her.

Dari shook his head, and pulled Kat closer, his arms wrapping around her

-"No Telk, Hes gone, dont worry"-

Dari kissed her cheek gently near her horn

-"Lets just rest tonight..tomorrow is a big day for all of us"-

Telken nodded slowly to Darissar, as much as he did trust his soon to be son-in-law he still looked to Kase to see what she thought. He put his hand on her shoulder and gave it a little squeeze.

Kat, however, was quite happy to let the matter rest and kissed Darissar's shoulder then his cheek.

~"We should leave your parent's to rest alone Dari..."~

Kase nodded to Telken as he squeezed her shoulder, knowing the man probably wouldnt come back. She smirked at Misha who was playing with her fingers.

Dari gave Kat a tight, but not too tight, squeeze, before slowly letting go

-"Would you like to lay down or walk around a bit yet?"-

"Either way..."

Spoke up Telken in a joking tone.

"Quit make'n kissy faces or your little sister is going to get sick..."

Telken smirked over at Darissar and Kat as he put his arm around Kase. Kat blushed furiously suddenly stepping away from Darissar, but only a little. For one reason or another she didn't mind strangers staring at them but the two people in the room with them would soon become her parents and she felt like she had to listen to them.

~"S-sorry...Mr. Telken...C-come on Dari...L-let's take aw-walk..."~

Kat grabbed his hand and started for the door.

Dari tried not to grin as she stepped away from Telks comment, and was pulled towards the door. Gabel stayed sitting still, staring at the steps, waiting.

As they got downstairs, Dari laughed a little, squeezing her hand and tugging on it, to gently pull her to him

-"No need to be embarassed"-

Kat giggled quietly and all but flew into his arms. She traced her fingers over his lips, the scars on her wrists showing only for a moment down her sleeve.

~"But they're your parents lover...I wouldn't want to make you uncomfortable..."~

Her tail lightly tickled his leg teasingly as she said the last word.

Dari kissed her fingers gently, before smirking, slowly walking towards the door, still holding her closely

"Understandable"-

He said with a wink, then picked her up into his arms, and walked outside

Kat -eeped- rather loudly and threw her arms around his neck as he picked her up. She giggled and blushed a bit clinging to him.

~"I'm not too heavy love...?"

Kat happily stayed curled up in his arms and holding onto his neck looking around as they walked. She hummed quietly for awhile before asking softly.

~"Where are we going...?"
