Eternal Love

"Im not sure"

He said, smirking down at her

"Even these darkened forests are beautiful with that smile of yours"

He winked, and hugged her a bit tighter

Kat's jaw dropped a little as he cheeks became a dark purple. She grinned and nuzzled her face into his neck and kissed it gently before whispering.

~"Flatterer..."~

Dari smiled, and felt a chill run down his spine from her small kiss to his neck, and whispered

"It all comes naturally with you here.."

He looked around, seeing the human camp up ahead, and figured they shouldnt go much farther. He sat at a nearby tree, still holding her, but lowering her into his lap

Smiling wider and wider Kat moved with him and settled down into his lap with a few wiggles of her hips. Her tail took to gently stroking his leg as she kept her arms around him and couldn't resist nuzzling his neck and rubbing her face against him.

~"Mmm..."~

She was starting to feel quite warm, despite the frost slowly covering the rest of her skin.

~"Dari...why do you love me...?"~

Kat suddenly asked without really knowing why. It was a thought that just occurred to her, but she figured she was just trying to fish for compliments from him since they made her feel special.

His hand from her stomach moved to her cheek to gently pull her face up so he could look into her eyes. He smiled a bit more, not answering for several moments, until whispering

"Because.. you're you"

He kissed her gently for a moment, his hand moving to the back of her head

Kat giggled a little and blushed, kissing him back but it still seemed to nag at her and she pulled her lips back to whisper against his.

~"Must be more to it than just that love..."~

He slowly stroked the back of her head with his fingers, staring into her eyes again

"But that is it.. everything about you.. you're so sweet.. so caring.. and loving. and determined.. otherwise you wouldnt of followed me for so long.."

He hugged her a bit closer with his other arm

"Everything about just 'you', makes me love you more and more"

She closed her eyes as she rested her forehead on his and felt her cheeks grow colder, despite them blushing. She whispered softly.

~"Darissar..."~

Was all she could bring herself to say. She found herself thinking how hard it was for someone to love a slave like her.

As if he had heard her thoughts, he whispered quietly

"Your past.. Is just that.. Its the past.."

His hand slowly moved along her arm, dragging over her wrist, and then gripped her hand

"but look at us.. think of tomorrow.. think of several months from now.. we're going to have a family.."

Kat winced slightly as he touched her wrist... but it was a wince to press to his hand and her body closer to his. Her joyful mood slowly turned into something else as she blinked back tears and whispered to him.

~"I don't deserve this...or you Darissar..."

Dari shook his head quickly, making sure she stared deeply into his eyes

"Listen to me.. You deserve so much more than all of this, but you just got stuck with me"

He winked at her, and held her closer.

"All of this.. everything thats happened and thats going to happen, every bit of love you get from everyone.. you deserve it all.."

He refused to let her think otherwise

He wrapped his arms around her tightly, his eyes closing as he just held her and whispered

"Youre the most beautiful woman I have ever met.. And thats never going to change.. I wouldnt want my life to be lived with anyone else.. never.."

He blinked away a few tears of his own

Dari's eyes went wide for a moment as she kissed him, until slowly closing, melting into the passion, gripping her hand.

Slowly he pulled his head back and whispered

"I love you.. "

Kat sniffled a little, but still smiled at him and whispered quietly.

~"I love you too...my husband..."~

She gripped his hand a little tighter and found it a little hard to breath, just being overwhelmed. She started to wonder if she would survive the following day.

Dari just held her closely, gripping her hand as his eyes closed slowly, still smiling

"Tomorrow is going to change your whole past love.. I promise.."

He kissed her forehead gently before just resting there quietly with her, not wanting to overwhelm her anymore

Kat still sniffled a bit as she clung to him. She felt the warmth of Strangelthorn reach out to them and it seemed to melt the cold in her skin. She was in fact getting quite a bit warmer and she mused it was because she was so far away from the scythe and so close to the man she loved.

Her eyes closed as she pressed a little closer and nuzzled her face into his neck and whispered.

~"I hope...our child will be alright...and elf and a draenei..."

"He'll be fine.. He'll be the most amazing little boy.. He'll be so strong thanks to you.."

He smiled and nuzzled her cheek, whispering

"Dont worry about anything like that right now.. we still have a long time and until then.. we just need to relax the best we can.."

Kat nodded slowly and laid on him, snuggling down so she could lay her horn on his shoulder so her ear could rest over his heart so she could listen to it beat. She whispered softly.

~"Your the strong one love...keeping the demon at bay for your family...so strong and loving...despite what you said when I started seducing you..."~

Dari slowly stroked her cheek as he rested his cheek on the top of her head and whispered

"Together.. we're stronger than anyone.."

He couldnt help but hug her a bit more, feeling his heart beating faster, knowing it was just because she was listening

Kat closed her eyes a bit tighter and tried to breath to get her heart to beat in time with his. It seemed important to her to live at the same rate at him and she but considerable effort into it. Once she was satisfied she nuzzled his shoulder and lifted her head to kiss his cheek. Her lips were quite warm unlike how they normally were.

~"I believe you, Love..."~

She smiled at him happily.

He smiled wider, just hugging her tightly, trying to be gentle

"Youre so amazing.."

He whispered, just wanting to hold her forever, but he knew that they had to head back soon

"We should..get back to the inn soon.."
