Oceans of blue

Rid was whimpering, feeling tears in her eyes as she curled up tighter, closing her eyes as tight as she could, as if trying to make them go away, but they stayed, the whole time.

Her eyes slowly opened as the ship slowed, but they seemed different.. deffinetly not like her own. She stood up, and went up on deck, looking around

"We almost there?"

Kas was barely awake or he would have noticed her eyes, as it was though, they were pulling into the port as he stumbled about deck lowering the sails. He walked to the side of the ship and leaned heavily on the rail trying to stay upright and he motioned to the docks that seemed all but abandoned at that hour.

"J'st 'bout....dun really...get ships this late...y'a'right?"

Rid nodded a little, moving to him, putting his arm over her shoulder so she could help him walk

"We'll get somewhere for you to rest my love.."

She was looking at the dock, her other arm moving around his waist for extra support

"and I can fix this.."

Kas leaned on her and noted she sounded not as bad as she had looked before and it registered as odd but he was just happy she wasn't seemingly in pain. The ship bumped a few times against the dock until coming to rest against the shore and by magical means the ramp extended.

With her help they went down the ramp and he stopped her and looked at the boat. He took a breath and pointed at it. It slowly pulled away form the dock and disappeared beneath the waves. He grinned a little.

"Love tha trick...come'n...m'family house ain too far..."

He pointed up the shoreline and they could see a vague shape of a very old and run down house, which must had been abandoned for several dozen years.

She nodded as he pointed, and began to walk towards it, still supporting him as they went, and she spoke low

"We'll both have time to rest.. but I want you to feed.. "

She didnt seem to be in any pain at all compared to before

Kas smiled oblivious to if it was strange or not. He was just so tired and was so close to her and it made him happy. The closer to the house they got, the more they could tell how much in disarray it was. It must not have been lived in for centuries but somehow it still stood against the sea.

As they reached the door to the house, Kas let go of her and put his hand on the rusted lever. At first it didn't seem to budge but with a whispered spell the rust cracked and fell off and he pushed the door open then looked at Ridell.

"I j'st need ta sleep f'r awhile..."

She nodded, watching him open the door, and brought him inside, letting him lead her around.

Deep inside, Rid simply felt like she was asleep, her mind not stressful over the fact she didnt realize what was going on

"rest my love.."

The house inside was as barren as the outside and looked like it might collapse at any moment. He pulled her along weakly to the basement door and like the front door it opened the same way and he lead her downstairs.

It appeared to be Kas' own safe house but it was dusty and not often used. There was maps and chests and weapons and just about everything he could think of ever needing, but all he wanted right then was the bed tucked in the corner, which he lead her too, then fell into.

"Na bad idea..."

She kneeled down beside the bed, her hand slowly moving along his face to keep his hair out of it, stroking his cheek a bit.

"I'll be here when you awake.."

She whispered, then began to hum an old Sin'dorei tune, one not used for a long time, to try and lull him to sleep.

A few more hours passed, before Rid finally stood, and moved to the bed. She layed behind him, wrapping her arm around his waist, and whispered so soft in his ear, to try and just barely pull him from his sleep

"My love.."

She kissed his cheek, and then his shoulder, her lips a bit colder then normal

She couldnt help but smirk, but it seemed more like a grin, as her lips trailed about his shoulder very slow, very soft, trying to just pull him out of sleep.

"You should wake up.."

Before he did wake up though, her whole body wrapped in darkness for a split second, her clothes changing, to a top that only covered her upper torso, her whole stomach visible, and then in a black skirt, which was just above her knees.

Kas grinned a bit, shivering from her lips and slowly opened his eyes and turns his head to look at her. He went to speak but his eyes fell over her body and he just stared for a moment with his mouth opened and murmured.

"m'I still sleep'n..."

Rid shook her head slowly, her eyes still different, but only slightly, and her hand moved to his cheek

"You're very much awake.."

She leaned forward to his lips, and kissed him softly

"Mmm..."

He closed his eyes as he kissed her back, his hands sliding around her to hug her to him. He pulled back and his eyes finally settled on hers and the grin that was playing on his lips diminished, just a little.

"Y'feel'n a'right love...?"

Kas shivered deeply, kissing her back and moved his hands up her body to gently grasp her cheeks. Had he been just a few yeas younger or not still under the effect of Janine's drugs he'd never had stopped. But his hands gently pushed her head back away from his lips so he could look at her. He was a little breathless as he whispered.

"Ridell...is great ta...be wit ya again but...y'were so weak b'fore..."

"you know me.. with all my little potions, Im feeling a bit better at the moment.."

She stared deeply into his eyes, her voice lowering to a whisper

"I just wanted to prove to you how good I was feeling my love.."

Her body was still pressed against his quite a bit

Kas moaned slightly but it quickly turned into a deep groan as the grip on her cheeks got a little harder and he tore his eyes away from hers.

"This's terrible...cause...I wanna...but y'aint you...dammit..."

He moved a hand between them and pushed her back or at least try too and get out of the bed.
