Oceans of blue

Rid didnt budge, if anything, she moved closer, pushing him onto his back, and leaned down to his ear, whispering

"Its me my love.."

Her eyes slowly changed back to green, although, it was just to trick him, and she looked down at him, her hand slowly stroking his cheek

"I missed you so.."

She leaned down again, and kissed him deeply

She could feel he wasnt giving in yet, and slowly pulled back, almost glaring down at him

"What is it? Havent you missed me as well?"

One of the vials was off to the side, and as she did with most victims, dipped the small blade into it, making sure it was out of his sight.

Slowly the blade dragged along his leg, cutting very slightly into it, just enough to "Inject" what was on it, an agent to calm his mind, almost to put him into a high, to try and lower his defenses

"Na really...I miss'd R'd'll...na whoe'er....tha 'ell....you...seem...ta uhm...be..."

He felt the pain in his leg and was vaguely aware of it hurting but he wasn't sure he cared. His stale face slowly turned into a smile and he closed his eyes. It wasn't right, he kept hearing in his mind. It wasn't her, he shouldn't let his mind slip. She did something. Don't let her do whatever she wants to do.

The voice continued to nag at him, but as the drug worked it's way slowly through his system he didn't seem to care. His breathing slowed a bit and his pupils dilated slightly as he opened his eyes to look up at her.

"Wha...are ya do'n...t'me..."

His voice was soft and almost happy but there was no suppressing his curiosity no matter how willing he'd become.

Rids hands moved to his shoulders, gently pushing them down, as she leaned down and began to kiss at his neck and shoulder

"Nothing my love.. "

Her hands slowly slid under his head, as she whispered

"Im never completely gone"

Kas was barely aware of his body responding to her with a soft moan and tremble. His hands slowly moved around her back to hold her lightly. His voice was a mumble.

"Y'ain....her..."

His mind was screaming as was his heart but so little did her care. He missed her lips, her body, her smell so much that the drug had little work to do, to make him not care.

She grinned at his reactions, knowing her poison was working, although it was only temporary, only a few hours worth. She whispered quietly near his ear

"You're right, but this body is hers.. This blood.."

Her hands pulled his head up closer to her neck, and she whispered, almost commanded

"Drink.."

His lips quivered the closer they got to her neck. His hands moved to grip her shoulder and the back of her head but still the voices screamed at him and his lips paused just brushing against her neck as he spoke.

"Who...are...ya..."

She tried not to grin, pulling his head a little closer, and then suddenly stabbed the blade into his leg, giving him a much larger dose of what was on it, and she whispered

"You didnt think I would kill myself to let you both escape did you.."

It was good for her that she did. At the realization of who it was and what she was doing had snapped Kas' mind out of it...but then the pain in his leg and he yelped...soon going limp and his eyes half closing as it calmed him again. His head hung limp in her hands as he lazily looked up at her.

"J-Jan....y''bitch...toldja...w-we're..."

He just didn't seem to care enough to say 'over' and just started at her with a mildly drunken smile on his face.

Rid grinned down at him, kissing his lips softly

"Oh my love.. Such harsh words from those sweet lips.."

She pulled his mouth back to her neck and said low

"I was unable to produce an offspring.. but Rid can.. I should of let her have her child.. and just taken it.."

Rid closed her eyes and flinched at first, but it soon relaxed her, her body shuddering as well, as she just held his mouth close to her neck, trying to give him strength, trying to make Rid weak, to keep her in her calmed state to where she didnt even know what was happening

"Yes.. My love.."

She pet the back of his head slowly, her hand pressed over the wound on his leg where she had stabbed to make sure it didnt bleed

"Feed.. Dont.. stop"

Rid grabbed onto the sheets to avoid being slammed against the wall, and growled at him

"H-How! You should be a mindless dog.."

The suddeness of his actions, suddenly made the real Rid wake up, and she shook her head several times, blinking, confused, not sure what was going on, and looked at Kas, then down at herself, wondering why she was wearing those clothes

"H-h-huh?"

Kas really tried to get up gracefully and look as suave as he always did, but the drug was still effecting him quite a bit and he ended up just toppling out of the bed and rolling on the floor to lay on his back. His body was fairly limp and relaxed for the most part. Some parts weren't so much however.

"Bleed'n'ell...swear if I e'er knew break'n tha girl's 'ear woulda led t'all this...I'd've just killed'r..."

He closed his eyes and just laid there, breathing calmly despite his mind running a mile a minute with memories assaulting him and resurfacing, guided still by the young voice of Ridell.

Rid quickly moved to the edge of the bed, her eyes her own again, as she was still highly confused as to why she was in changed clothes, where they were, she didnt remember any of it

"K-Kas.. What happened?"

She moved down onto the floor, sliding a pillow under his head

If the drug wasn't starting to win over his conscious again he'd probably have recoiled from her, as it was though he just smiled and looked up at her like there was nothing wrong in the world.

"Y'just...turn'd inta Jan...like ya used ta do...she dinna'ave a way off tha island...heh...heh...so she let'r self be kill'd and just...hopped on o'er...drugged me or somethin...but y'r in here...in me head..."

He laughed a little quietly as he tapped his head.

Rid raised her eyebrow, and felt along her belt, feeling several vials she hadnt put there, and looked at one, holding it up to the faint light, narrowing her eyes

"Hm.. Should be out of your system in a couple hours.."

She looked back down at him, shaking her head a bit

"Your crazy.."

"Heh...heh...y a'bit I think...I dunno...does it matt'r?"

He opened his eyes slowly and looked over at her. There was tears in his eyes, despite the drug.

"N'matt'r wha we do...she's always gonna be there...always try'n t'urt us...cause of me...she took our son away...cause a'me...'urt you so much..."

His lips were smiling because of the drug and his voice sounded calm, but tears ran down his cheeks as he starred up at the ceiling. Remembering everything, maybe even a little better than before.

Rid felt tears in her eyes as well, and pulled down a blanket off the bed, wrapping both herself and him in it, resting her head onto his chest. She whispered

"K-Kas.. Dont.. blame yourself, please.."

Her hand found his, and squeezed it

Kas' hand loosely squeezed hers back. With the drug in his system still, it was the best he could do, though he wished he could hold her and kiss her. All the same he still smiled away with that wistful and small voice.

" 'Ow did we end up 'ere Rid...vampires...curs'd...hunt'd..."

He closed his eyes slowly and for the most part he joked.

"All I e'er want'd was t'get in yer pants...."

Rid laughed a little, but there were still tears in her eyes as she nuzzled his chest more

"Rest.. "

She knew he wouldnt be himself for a couple hours yet

"I'll be here when you wake up.."

Kas' eyes stayed closed and he whispered very softly.

"List'n to me...people in tha village are good people..dun kill'm if...y'feed on'm...j'st...contorl Jan..."

He seemed to want to say more, but her voice was like a command and he started to drift off. His arms held her a little tighter as he soon fell into unconsciousness.
