One hot week in the jungle

B blinked, confused

"No no I meant-.."

He shook his head as Kas ran off, knowing he would have to introduce Kas to his wife and child. He chuckled to himself and walked back to the bar, covering his 'leg'.

Inside the Undercity, Rid was sneaking past the guards of the sewers, who were defending the assassins leader. Guard by guard was a rookie, she was surprised at how many there were, he had obviously just recently hired them, or.. was using them as pawns.

As she got deeper in, she grinned, seeing his chamber, seeing several things in the doorway. A nearly invisible wire, and most importantly, a zapper. She ran at the door, throwing her dagger at the zapper to disable it, but as she got through the doorway, she hit something that felt damn close to a wall, and as she shook her head and looked up, a very large man had moved in her way.

She glared, but a grin was on her lips. She rushed at him, her elbow slamming into his stomach, but he didnt even budge, her grin slowly faded

"Oh come on now.."

The sneeze made Rid jump, looking at the human, her head slowly tilting in confusion. A human in the Undercity? She slowly pulled out her daggers, not to deal with the human, but the several blood elves ahead of her, blocking her way. One called out to the human

-"Who are you!"-

Rid very slowly crept to the wall, to try and keep their attention on the human and not herself

The man looked around.

~"Uhm...erm...huh..."

With a sigh, a dagger came flying out and stuck into the speakers throat. The human jumped a bit as daggers came flying out from the shadows all over to take out each and every person that was coming up on Ridell and the human. Kas stepped out of the shadows dressed the same as the human and sighed louder.

"Dam't Jacob! I want'd to see tha lass take on all those people!"

~'Sorry Boss..."`

Three others stepped out of the shadows. A blood elf male, an undead female, a scared and dark looking night elf...and a goblin with more than a few explosive bits strapped to him.

Kas looked over to Ridell and grinned in that way of his.

"'ey love!"

Rids jaw nearly hit the ground as she looked at them, and glared, but there was a grin on her lips as she looked at kas

"Dear me.. You are a stubborn one arent you"

She looked at the people he had brought and nodded her head to them

"You all know who we're facing?"

They all looked to Kas who shrugged with that grin of his.

"Na a clue. They dun care, I dun care. Just point tha bloke out and we'll get'im. Na the first time we've taken some'ne out stealthy like...though the new guy dinna do so well..."

Kas glared at the human who blushed under the face paint and muttered an apology.

"Anyway love, they're a talented bunch so y'cna count on'm. If you decide y'can count on me."

He gave her a serious look, waiting to see if she would or not.

Rid was still grinning, shaking her head in amazement that he had come out here, even though she had tried to get him to go away for his own safety

"Ive always known I can count on you.. okay well more recently then always but still.."

She winked at him, nodded her head down the sewer

"This guy used to be my teacher actually"

She began to walk, and continued talking

"Hes pretty damn good, got a lot of students on his side, I left him half way through my training which pissed him off a bit, hes been setting me up with several murders I didnt do, murders of innocent people. To try and turn everyone else against me."

There was a light very far off down the tunnel, and she turned to face them

"Just be careful and dont listen to what he says"

When she did, she could only see Kas still following with that ever present grin of his.

"We gotcha. Y'must be a huge dissapointm't since y'dun j'st lay down an die for'm. Poor fella's j'st try'n to make a live'n outta get'n others dead and y'j'st won't die...sounds like some'ne else we know..."

He laughed a bit then winked at her.

"Anyth'n else we outta know?"

"He has a LOT of friends.."

As they got closer to the light in the tunnel, she fell silent, her steps flowed with the stone, to not make a sound. As they got closer, they could hear voices, laughter, shadows dancing along the light.

Not wanting to count how many shadows she saw she just continued walking

Finally they were in sight, of a huge room, with what looked like piles of gold, it had to be a vault of sorts, with several guards. but they obviously hadnt seen action from someone trying to break in for quite a while, as they were laughing drunkenly and loudly. She grinned widely, and rushed forward, pulling out just one dagger, and then, as if there was about a dozen different forms of her, she appeared behind one at a time, for less then asecond, and vanished, appeared behind another, vanished, until she had done so to all of them.

As she stopped, she sheathed her dagger, and each man fell over, knocked out cold. She grinned more and looked at the group

"Theres got to be a door in this room somewhere.. if you want any gold, take it, just dont let it weigh you down too much"

Kas yawned and rested his hands behind his head as he watched them men fall over. The others in the shadows were quite impressed though they didn't express as much. Kas shrugged at her.

"We dinna come f'r gold. Still...shiny bits..."

He looked over the treasure thoughtfully.

"...Maybe we'll c'me back ta fill up tha ship aft'r we deal wit this old man."

He looked back to Ridell and grinned.

"But tha shadow trick makes f'r a fun time in bed ya?"

Jacob sniggered from the darkness but one of the others smacked him and he whimpered.

"Righ...anyway...so huh...door...man I 'ope it ain a trap door in tha floor..."

Rid shook her head at his joke and walked into the room, looking around along the walls

"Im not sure where it is honestly.. it could be anywhere.. "

She was running her fingers along the wall, trying to feel for a seam, and then yelped a bit when a small spike shot out as she dragged her finger across it. She sighed and sucked on the little bit of blood coming from her finger

"bastard.."

Kas looked around, slightly disappointed that the people they were up against weren't dramatic enough to open a hole in the floor just as he mentioned it. He shrugged to himself and made a circle in the air with his finger. The others emerged from the shadows.

"Jacob. Go'n back ta camp and let tha others know bout tha treasure 'ere so they can g't prepar'd to haul it outta 'ere."

The human reappeared and groaned a little, but the Night Elf emerged behind him and slapped him upside the head. Jacob grumbled as he disappeared and made his way out of the chamber.

"Righ...rest of y'lot get t'work find'n how ta get outta here...oh and tie those people up...no reas'n t'kill any more of'm..."

As she was searching, she slowly shook her head, she couldnt find a single seem along the stone walls. She knew there was a door somewhere.

After about 30 minutes she sighed deeply and just leaned against a large pile of gold coins

"I know this is the entrance way..."

Kas scratches his small beard and looked at the others, who seem equally stumped.

"This teach'r of yers must be one helluva wimp t'ide like this ya...? Must be someth'n deceptively easy...like..."

He looked up towards the ceiling and called out.

"Open ye magic'l door of open-ness! Let's threw an shite!"

Rid sighed and shook her head, but then heard something, like a crack, and slowly looked up. A crack only a few inches opened, but from it, several bugs began to come out, hundreds.. thousands.. and they began to crawl down the walls towards them. She quickly got up and went towards the doorway to get out, but a large slab rose from the bottom, and covered the doorway.

She punched it and swore under her breath, and moved to the middle of the room

"Okay.. that was a bad idea Kas.."

The others were already in the middle and surrounding Kas, who was a little flush with embarrassment.

" 'ey...it did someth'n though righ? Dinna see ya-AH!"

A bug crawled down his shirt and he flailed a bit trying to get at it. The others were starting to squish, squash, swat, fling things at, summon magic against and otherwise stop the bugs from getting closer.

Rid looked up, there were still several bugs pouring from that opening, and she growled low

"Just..dont let them get close to you"

She kneeled down and pulled up her pant leg, a rope and device under it strapped to her leg, and she aimed it straight up, closed one eye, aimed.. and shot it. It caught itself into the opening and pulled her up within a few seconds.

She then pulled a vial from her belt, and threw it up into the crack, and the sounds of thousands of bugs that hadnt come out yet, screamed it seemed, and she moved to the side, as they all began to fall from the crack at once, dead, and she yelled down to the group

"May want to move to the side!"

"Uhm...move! Gross!"

The night elf had cleared his side away for the most part and the group moved to fill it as the dead bugs came falling down onto the floor. Kas wrinkled his nose.

"Tha is seriously tha worse smell I e'er smell'd e'er...an Jacob ain e'en in 'ere anymore...lords..."

He covered his mouth and nose with his sleeve. The Goblin however was holding onto a live one and looked like he was seriously pondering eating it.

After they had all fallen, Rid reached her arm up into the narrow crack, wincing as she felt the remaining bugs biting at her arm, but she felt around, until finally.. she heard a click. Quickly pulling her arm out and brushing off the bugs that were clinging to it, she lowered herself back down to the floor, and watched as the doorway re-opened, and a new one across the room did as well.

She sighed deeply, her arm shaking slightly

"The bugs are poisonous.. In training though you're forced to build an immunity to most poisons incase your blade slipped.."

She looked at Kas

"Or if someone tries to kill you by poisoning your drink"

She winked and walked towards the new doorway, her daggers back in her hands

"Ya ya...y'r bad'arse...but I was tha one who found tha way t'open the door. So Ha!"

Crunch! The goblin started munching on a beetle and squeed happily. He grabbed a handful and followed after everyone. The night elf rolling his eyes with a disgusted look and the undead woman just smirking with only half a jaw.

Rid chuckled to herself and then got to the door, looking around, but only saw one thing, one person, Ka'paj, as his students called him.

He was just grinning ear to ear, watching her, she knew it was a trap, he knew that she knew it, but waved her in
