The Draenei made some whimpers of pain, but slowly they died down, and Rid let her drop hard to the ground. She wiped her mouth of the extra blood with her sleeve, savoring the taste as she hadnt fed in days, and knew she would need the energy.

Slowly she walked back into the room where he was, and said low

"When night comes.. we will burn this place, get rid of the bodies and provide a distraction for most of the guards so we can get into the stockades easier.

I shouldnt have much problem distracting the defias in there.. Im sure they havent seen a female in years"

Mikal only opened his eyes as he heard the noise of a body dropping. He turned to see Ridell emerge from the room and he just stared at her for a moment then nodded to her words. He swallowed and took a slow breath.

"D-Dev...n...hhh...hch..." He closed his eyes for a moment, and swallowed again. "Hid..n...r-roo...m."

He looked at her, hoping she'd understand enough...

Rid nods slowly

"Hidden room.."

A deep sigh escaped her lips as she started pacing

"I wish I had enough time to scout that dungeon but we have to do this tonight.."

She finally stopped pacing, looking at Mikal for several long moments, then sat down in front of him

"Tell me.. or.. just nod or shake your head.. Did you meet Kastorin?"

Mikal looked up at her, not saying or doing anything for a moment. He then turned slightly and began drawing in the dust. It wasn't much but it was the basic idea of the stockades layout, or at least the best he could remember.

He looked up slowly from it and to her again. His face looked unreadable for a moment, then very sad. As he nodded to answer his question he remembered the face he saw that night and it made his face turn white.

Rid watched him draw the basic map, then looked back to his face, and saw his terror, it made her own look quite scared before she looked away, biting her lip

"That bad.. huh.."

She slowly nodded to herself, before standing up again, and pacing back and forth, looking more determined then ever

"Even if I just see him to kill him.. I'll do it.."

She nods again to herself, taking a deep but shaky breath. Slowly the sun began to go down, just a couple more hours..

Mikal nodded slowly and patted the rapier in his lap. He was inwardly surprised she was thinking the same as him. He closed his eyes not knowing if she would wish to know what he suddenly wanted to say.

"Grr-gre...n....e-eyes...t-thhh...en....y-yell...o-ow..." He breathed deeply a few times. "L-llike...pl-...plll....s-sick...ness..."

His eyes met hers briefly before looking back to the dust. Unable to say more.

Rid nodded slowly to him, sighing

"We are cursed people.. me and him.."

She looked away, as she spoke low

"We arent.. exactly.. normal. If you havent been able to tell.."

As the sun set, the room they were in got darker, and for a brief moment, her eyes went yellow as she let off a low growl

He only nodded after she spoke and he stood getting ready for their next move. That is until he saw her eyes. So close to those eyes the night before. He stumbled backwards against the wall, his heart gripped in fear. His face in terror as he desperately tried to tell himself she was different. She wasn't like Kastorin. She wouldn't feast on him before killing him.

Rid knew he would react like that, and slowly stood, her eyes now back to green.

"Im afraid hes lost a part of his sanity.. i'll bring it back to him one way or another"

She walked over to him, resting her hand gently on his shoulder to calm him

"Youll be face to face with him again.. Make sure youre ready"

Mikal's yelp was low and pathetic as he jumped when she touched him. He stared at her terrified still but his eyes fell on hers and slowly his muscles seemed to relax and he dropped his head.

He swallowed against the fear in his throat and slowly nodded again, looking up at her. He didn't know why or how he found himself so devoted to the in-elven woman before him...but he stood ready to fight for her if he had too. He nodded once and stood a little taller.

She nodded back and looked outside, as the stars had begun to come out. She pulled out a very small vial, and ushered Mikal outside along with herself, and tossed the vial in, the small amount of liquid reacting with the air, and suddenly burst into flames. With that, she grabbed his wrist and began to run through the streets, taking back ways to stay away from where people would more likely be.

The cover of night helped them well, as people didnt pay much attention to them, especially with the plume of smoke in the backround from the house burning rapidly.

Finally they were close to the stockades, and she took a deep breath or two, before whispering

"I saved this for now.."

She pulled out an orb, and broke it in her palm, as suddenly, she began to transform, into a human it looked like. Her gear was now terribly tight but she figured that may work best. She walked to the nearest guard, and started smiling, flirting, pulling his attention, pulling him from the door.. before suddenly thrusting her palm at him, knocking him out and dumping him in the water.

After that, she waved Mikal over, as she walked in

Mikal tried not to gawk. He really did. But the sight of a woman turning into another woman wasn't something most anyone would see every day. As she flirted with the guard he felt a new pain in his chest. What was it? Jealously? He suddenly hit his head hard to clear it. What was wrong with him? Could there be something about the woman that was doing this to him? Some part of the thing she truly was?

He looked up and the guard was floating helplessly in the canal. He saw her wave at him and he rushed across the open space and soon joined her.

Rid looked inside before walking in, not a single guard, which she found quite strange. She walked in, still nothing, down the stairs, she heard cheering and laughter from the inmates, and handed Mikal her last potion to go invisible for a short time, as she walked down, ripping at her shirt to show her breasts a bit, while tearing randomly at her pants with her dagger, sighing before showing herself.

The inmates stopped talking, staring at her. She went to the closest she saw, and spoke low, just to him, a sly grin on her lips, biting her bottom one every so often, trying to get information from him

Mikal keep himself hidden by the doorway, waiting to use the potion for when she gave him some sort of sign. It didn't last too long last time and he wanted to make sure it would last long -enough-. So...he waited...

The defias man couldn't believe his eyes, let alone luck. Maybe he'd been locked in with the other men for too long but a damned goddess was walking right up to him. Her skin was so soft and perfect...her curves...gods and devils it had been so long...

"Sure lady...I'll help'ya...with what....-ever-...you need."

He grinned at her as the other men started to scowl and get angry. Some balling their fists in jealously.

She grinned coily

"Now.. Where can I find a fellow named Devon? I would like to have a small chat with him.."

She slowly dragged her finger under the mans chin, moving her face close to his and whispered

"The faster I see him.. the faster I can get back here.."

That name made the man stop short and blink at her, but the touch to his chin was all the incentive he needed to grin sloppily again.

"Guess y'gotta get to th'nasty b'efore the good stuff eh?"

The Defias grinned all the more repulsively as he pointed down the left corridor.

"E's lock'd up tight...move th'second barrel on the left in th'main room...ladder leads right down t'm...then you come right back here...and I'll take'r bad memories away..."

He saddles up a bit closer to her, practically drooling all over her.

Rid grinned slowly, as suddenly she stabbed the man in the stomach, whispering low

"Have fun with that.."

She quickly rushed out, waving to Mikal and following the mans instructions, running straight down the hall to the room with barrels, second on the left, she wasnt even watching anyone else, she was so close..

She found the ladder, and quickly crawled down it

Mikal wasn't as quick to move as he liked. Still, he saw her wave and watched the man slump to his knees holding his bloodied stomach, before downing the awful drink and resisting the urge to cry out in pain. He shoved past prisoners as they looked to their fallen brother and slowly started to turn towards where Ridell had run.

But by the time they acted, Mikal was following her down the ladder. The base of which they stood together and looked down a long hall that had nothing but a door at it's end. Darkness availed the path between the pair and whatever lay beyond the door. A torch was lit outside of the door, as if teasing the occupant of freedom he'd never have.

As luck would have it for Ridell, The Defias she stabbed happened to be the ring leader of their breakout attempt...and the only one who knew of the solitary confinement. So the prisoners searched and rioted against each other as Devon, the Insane sat staring into darkness. Staring at the door he somehow knew was about to open, and he'd meet his destiny head on.

Ridell walked down the hall, her footsteps loud on the stone, pulling out her other dagger as she did, and swiftly kicked open the door before her, holding her dagger out and saying

"Devon. Tell me what you know of Kastorin"

Her eyes held a fury she rarely felt, she didnt even look around the cell, her eyes just stayed locked on his

"I will bring you whatever end you want if you help me"

Mikal stayed silently behind Ridell, looking worriedly back up the hall. Devon however, met her eyes with no hesitation. Unlike others, his eyes showed no sign of falling under her trance. In fact he slowly grinned.

"The Nightmare will end by your hand, but so sure you are the path lies with me?"

Rid growled under her breath, feeling the pain of the magic she used, and slowly she shrunk back to her own blood elf self. Her green glowing eyes quickly changed to yellow as she snarled

"You know what I seek!"

Her voice held a slight tone of desperation

"Tell me what I want to know.."

Mikal continued to watch wordlessly between the tunnel and Ridell. Devon merely stared deeply into the woman's eyes. He sat on the cold ground, knees pulled up, his arms resting on them. His voice was cold and flat as the darkness around him.

"And what if what you want to know, is not what you want to know? What if he's with another? What if he's not? What if he's a rat in a cage, just as you are, with a lovely girl staring down at you both? Merely pets in a grand scheme of predators and prey."

He suddenly laughed bitterly.

"Has not poor Mikal told you not what you wish? For he knows just as I do..."

Rid looked slightly confused, looking back at Mikal, then to Devon, and shook her head

"Stop trying to confuse me.."

She stepped closer, her eyes going a deeper yellow now as she growled deeper

"WHERE IS KASTORIN!"

She yelled loudly, not caring if anyone heard

Devon calmly laid his head back against the wall. Unafraid of her, unlike Mikal who looked ready to slam the door and run. Slowly Devon's fingers intertwined and his face became set in a grin.

"Contain yourself, please. Lest you upset the sanctity of my darkness. Tear me and Mikal asunder and you'll never...ever...find the one who helped create your ch-..."

Devon closed his eyes, suddenly shaking his head.

"No, no that has not happened yet. No."

He opened his eyes again,s taring into her yellow and infurious ones.

"Are you willing to risk your life for him? Our lives? The lives of all those who dwell in Azeroth?"

He lowered his voice as his eyes narrowed and his whispered.

"Are you willing to sacrifice your very -future- to save him?"

Rid was trying not to let his words get to her, but his question at the end, she answered with all the truth she had

"Im willing to tear this world apart if it just means I get to see him again.."

She fought back tears, her chest hurting, realizing how badly she missed him.

"If I had to kill every last being in this world just to kiss him again.. I would.."

She stared Devon down, as her eyes slowly went back to green, trying to get calm
